Attention Parents of current 8th Graders! EHS-Incoming Freshman Parent Night updated! Wednesday, January 25th 2012
This is for current 8th graders. Eastlake staff will present a program that addresses the transition to high school, registration information and graduation requirements. 6:30 PM meeting for parents of students in Special Education in Room C205. 7:00-8:00 PM information session in the EHS Theater.
Eastlake is having their General Membership meeting on January 25 at 6:30 pm prior to the incoming Freshman Info Night.

Parents of incoming 7th graders (current 6th graders)

The meeting originally scheduled for January 17th was canceled due to snow and rescheduled to January 31st at 7pm in the IJH gym.  This is a meeting where parents of incoming 7th graders can hear what they can expect when their student attends IJH.

Inglewood Junior High Wrestling

Sign ups for Inglewood Junior High Wrestling begin Monday, January 9th in the attendance office.  Cost is $105 and the season runs January 30th through March 24 (the final league tournament held at Juanita High School).  All forms for turning out are found on the Inglewood Junior High website. First practice is Monday, January 30th.  Practice times are 2:20 until 5:00pm each weekday except Wednesday s.  Practice on Wednesday is typically 6:15 to 7:15am.

Inglewood Junior High Volleyball

There will be a player meeting for 8th and 9th grade girls interested in playing Inglewood Junior High Volleyball on Thursday, January 26th at 7:10 in the Inglewood weight room.  Sign ups begin on Monday, January 9th.  See Ms. Rasler in the attendance office for forms and fees.  A reminder that the cost is $105 unless this is the third athletics for you this school year.  If this is the first sport for you at Inglewood this year please see the IJH website to download the needed forms.

Pantry Packs-Helping after the Holidays

If you’re looking to extend your holiday giving…you can make a difference right in our own school district.  Pantry Packs is an organization helping kids in our district that do not have enough food at home to keep their tummies full over the weekend. Pantry Packs provides a rolling backpack program. Every Thursday, packs are filled with kid-friendly food for the weekend.
