PTSA Awards & Recognition
It is time for the annual IJH PTSA Awards and Recognition nominations. We encourage everyone to take a minute and nominate a worthy teacher, staff member or parent volunteer. Please fill out the attached nomination form and forward it to Becky Whelchel, IJH Office Manager by April 30, 2012. Thank you.
MSP Testing Dates for 7th and 8th grade students
This year our testing will include some paper/pencil tests, and some online tests. Tests will be given on various dates throughout May (please see dates below). Please do not schedule any appointments on these days, and ensure your students get plenty of sleep and a hearty breakfast! Students are currently completing demos for the online tests in 7th grade Reading and 7th and 8th grade Math. Students can also practice at home through the OSPI website at the following link: http://k12.wa.us/assessment/StateTesting/OnlineTesting.aspx

Does My Student Have Outstanding Class Fees or Fines?
Our school depends on the funds, books and sport equipment to ensure we are able to provide for the classroom and sport activities. Please follow the directions below to see if your student has items that need to be cleared up.
• Log onto www.LWSD.org
• Click on "For Parents" on the Top of the Webpage
• Log into "Parent Access" on the Right
• Click on "Online Payments" on the upper right side of the page
• Students' names will be listed. Click on each of your Students to see their account.
• Click on the" View Open fines" on the right to see if there is a fine owed.
• At this point you can make a payment using your credit card or by sending cash or check (made payable to Inglewood Junior High) with your student to school and turn in at the cashier window.
